Lyon June 07, 1933 – May 02, 2019 Share this obituary Send Flowers Sign Guestbook| Send Sympathy Card Kathleen Mae Lyon, a resident of Chesterfield, Michigan passed away on Thursday, May 2, 2019 at the age of 85. She was born June 7, 1933 in Detroit, Michigan to the late Peter Paul Pulcer and Ruth Clara Henrietta Eccleston Pulcer. She was united in marriage to H. James Roberts who preceded her in death.

Later she was united in marriage to Elwood G. Lyon who also preceded his wife in death. Mrs. Lyon was employed as Harrison Township Clerk, for over 10 years, then as deputy clerk for 7 years and retired after a total of 17 years with the township in 1996. She was an active member of Harrison Township Goodfellows and an honorary member of the Macomb County Clerks Association.

A 60 year member of First Presbyterian Church in Mount Clemens, she served as a trustee, Sunday School teacher, active with the youth choir, Bible study and prayer shawl committee. Being a crafty person she crocheted the prayer shawls for church, made scarves, created and made her own greeting cards and sensory pillows for autistic students. She designed wedding flowers, created and stitched wedding dresses and created bridal bouquets.

On her personal time, she enjoyed relaxing by boating and fishing especially ice fishing. She will be greatly missed by her children, Brenda (Jeff) Stiles, Timothy (Kristen) Roberts, Constance (Joseph) DiSanto, Matthew (Tami) Roberts and Jennifer (Paul) Ferri. She was the proud grandmother of Kimberly (Jason) TenBrock, Amy Stiles, Erika Stiles, Nicholas (Kiley) Roberts, Dakota (Christa) Roberts, Nina Ferri, Michael Ferri and Jonathan Ferri.

The family tree grows stronger with the addition of four great grandchildren, Wesley, Bradley, Graham and Luke. Besides her parents, and husbands, she was preceded in death by granddaughter Kathleen Marie Ferri. Cremation services were entrusted to the Harold W. Vick Funeral Home, 140 South Main, Mount Clemens, Michigan.

Memorial services will take place on Sunday, June 2, 2019 at First Presbyterian Church, 168 Cass Ave. , Mount Clemens, Michigan at 1:30 pm. Family will receive friends at the church starting at 12:30 pm.

Burial will take place at Cadillac memorial Gardens Cemetery East, Clinton Township, Michigan. Contributions may be addressed to First Presbyterian Church Youth Group. Share memories with the family at www.
