Kathleen M. Binney, 84, of Logansport, passed away Monday, June 4, 2018 at Chase Center in Logansport. Born on January 30, 1934 in Elkhart, Indiana, she was the daughter to the late Ray W. and Evelyn G. (Sheetz) Silver. On June 17, 1960 in Logansport, she married Thomas Lee Binney who preceded in death January 28, 2010.

Kathleen worked at the Logansport State Hospital for 34 years as an x-ray technician. She enjoyed camping, scratch offs, taking her grandkids fishing in Linton, IN, using her golf cart for about anything she needed done and gardening. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Surviving are two sons, Mark (Deborah) Binney, Peru; Kevin (Kimberly K.) Binney, Logansport; two sisters, Margaret Campbell; Pearl Leonard, both of Buffalo, IN; step daughter, Rhonda (Dave) Smith, Galveston; grandchildren, Adam Binney and fiancée Mandy Miller; Kasey (Cameron) Dillon and Aubree Binney; step grandchildren, Ryan (Stacey) Russell; Angie Musall and Clint Almon; four great grandchildren; nine step great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Carol Douglass and Doris Silver. A celebration of life will be held at 1:00 PM on Thursday, June 7, 2018 in the Gundrum Funeral Home with Pastor Dean Snyder officiating.

Burial will follow in the Bethel Cemetery, Logansport. Visitation will be held from 11:00 AM until the time of the service on Thursday. Memorials may be made in Kathleen’s name to the Shriner’s Hospital for Children, envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
