Kathryn A. “Kathy” Kalinsky, 73, of Conneaut, passed away Thursday, February 28, 2019 at UH Geauga Hospital. She was born December 11, 1945 and was the daughter of Frank and Dorothy (King) Kalinsky. Kathy owned Sampson and Delilah hair salon in Conneaut until she retired in 2010.

She was a member of Good Shepherd Church and lived at Camp Luther for 25 years, where she assisted with running the grounds, cooking and cleaning and setting up the cabins for the kids to enjoy. She also enjoyed swimming, gardening, planting flowers, traveling and being with her family and grandkids. Survivors include her sons Pat (Kelly) Danforth, of Clintonville WI, Craig “Bumpy “(Stacy) Danforth of N. Kingsville, OH, and Tim Danforth of Conneaut, OH; her grandchildren, BJ Weideman, Sadie Danforth, Dylan Danforth, Kara Danforth, and Isabella Danforth; great-grandchild Rory Weideman; and her companion of 21 years Les Parker of Conneaut.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and her brothers Dave and Mike Kalinsky. No services will be observed. Contributions may be made in memory of Kathy to Bella Care Hospice or to Camp Luther.
