Kathryn’s Obituary Kathryn Conway Banse Kathryn Conway Banse, Haddon Heights, NJ, formerly of Girardville, passed away peacefully at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital in Camden, NJ surrounded by her loving family. Born in Danville, PA ,she was the daughter of the late Peter and Catherine Munley Conway. Kathryn was a graduate of the former Immaculate Heart High School, Fountain Springs.

She then attended Misericordia University obtaining her BA degree in Education and the State University of New York, where she received her post-graduate degree in Education Management. Kathryn taught in the New York, Connecticut and New Jersey educational systems before working as the Assistant Principal of Somerdale Elementary School until her retirement. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother James P. Conway.

Kathryn is survived by her daughter Katie and her husband Michael Clegg, Omaha, NE; her three grandsons: Jackson, Aiden and Henry Clegg; her sister Maureen Conway Kaufmann and her husband William, Lafayette Hill and her niece Yulia Conway Kaufmann. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday at 12 noon at St. Vincent dePaul Catholic Church, Girardville with Msgr. William E. Handges as the celebrant.

Friends may call at the church on Friday morning from 11 a.m. until the time of mass. Interment will take place in St. Joseph’s Catholic Cemetery, Ashland, PA. Contributions can be made, in Kathryn’s memory, to Trinity Academy at 233 W Cherry St, Shenandoah, PA 17976.
