Kathryn Smalley Lee, born May 31, 1931 and daughter of Mr. and Mrs. R.H. Smalley of Elberton, passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 12, 2019. Kathryn is survived by her husband, Don; children, Kathy Earl and Don Lee; grandchildren, Brandon, Nicole, Jordan, Madison and Morgan; daughter-in-law, Jill and son-in-law David. Kathryn was married to Don Lee for sixty years and they resided in Grayson Georgia.

Kathryn was a retired educator, having taught for over thirty years at Lake City Elementary School in Lake City Georgia. A service celebrating Kathryn’s life will be held Friday, January 18 at 2:00 pm at Grayson United Methodist Church. The family requests that donations be made to the Arthritis Foundation, 1355 Peachtree Street Suite 600, Atlanta, Georgia 30309 or the National Scoliosis Foundation, www.
