Funeral service for Kathy Watts Tidwell age 58 of Somerville will be Friday, December 28, 2018 at 1:00p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with burial in the Mt. Zion Cemetery in Vinemont with Peck Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be from 6:00pm until 8:00pm Thursday evening at the funeral home.

Mrs. Tidwell, who was born on November 10, 1960 in Morgan County to Charles Eugene Watts and Dorothy Lucille Johnson Watts, died on Sunday, December 23, 2018 in Hartselle. She was a wonderful Christian lady who really enjoyed playing the guitar and singing. She had a very big heart and just simply loved everybody.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a granddaughter; Savannah Johnson and a niece; Angel Grindle. She is survived by her husband; John Tidwell, a son; Rodney Johnson of Falkville, a daughter; Tiffany Sevigay of Savannah, GA, a brother; Derek Watts of Decatur, 3 sisters; Jennifer Grindle of Georgia, Dana Blankenship and Christie Appleton both of Decatur. 3 Grandchildren; Callie Johnson, Jordan Johnson and Aidan Owens.

Family and Friends will serve as pallbearers.
