Katrena was born December 20, 1924 in Eminence, IN. She passed away peacefully at her home February 4, 2019. Katrena is survived by her husband of 71 years, Robert; children, Bruce (Ann) Caster, and Nancy (Jimmie) Powell; grandchildren, Janet Childers, Jay Andrew Powell, Lindsey (Mike Freundlich) Powell, Kevin Powell, and Christopher (Shanna) Caster; great grandchildren, Lexi Childers, Calvin Freundlich, Jamie Caster, and Sarah Freundlich; and siblings, Harlan Truax and Marian McLaughlin.

She was preceded in death by her brother, Kenneth Truax, and sister, Christine Maxwell. Visitation will be held 2pm until the funeral service at 4pm, Friday, February 8 at Davenport Family Funeral Home, 149 W. Main St (Lake Cook Road), Barrington. Interment will be private.
