Obituary for Kayden Blain Stone Kayden Blain Stone, 14, of Mesick passed away Monday, September 3, 2018 at Munson Medical Center. Kayden was born on May 22, 2004 in Dearborn, MI to William and Melissa (Duncan) Stone. He attended Kingsley Middle School and was a brilliant student, achieving straight A’s.

Kayden was adored by his teachers. He was a member of his school’s baseball and basketball teams and was excited to join the Middle School Debate Team. His dream was to one day attend an Ivy League school.

He enjoyed learning different languages such as Spanish, Arabic, Russian and was going to be taking German this year in high school. His passions included religion, politics and a good debate. Kayden is survived by his parents Bill and Melissa (Duncan) Stone; sister Auryona Stone; maternal grandparents Kim and Richard ‘Rick’ Duncan; paternal grandparent Cindy Snyder and Colleen Stone.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather William Stone Sr. A visitation will be held on Friday, September 7, 2018 from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Buckley Tabernacle Church. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 8, 2018 at noon at the Buckley Tabernacle Church, with visitation beginning at 11 a.m. Pastor John Vermilya will officiate. Those wishing to provide an expression of sympathy are encouraged to direct contributions in Kayden’s name to the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP), c/o Out Of The Darkness TC, 120 Wall Street, 29th Floor, New York, NY 10005.
