Kaye Coraluzzo May 12, 1941 – May 02, 2019 Share this obituary Send Sympathy Gifts Sign Guestbook| View Guestbook Entries| Send Sympathy Card| Memorial Donation Karen Kaye Coraluzzo, May 12, 1941 – May 2, 2019 Karen Kaye Keck was born on a farm in Kanorado, Kansas, Kit Carson County Colorado, where she lived with her mom and dad, Byron and Emma Keck; her brothers, Larry, Melvin, Darel, and Doyle; and her sisters, Willa Faye, Arleta May, and Denna Vey. They moved to Greeley, Colorado when she was 8 years old; to Phoenix, Arizona when she was 13; and to Wichita, Kansas at age 15. There, she graduated from high school and married Stanley Ritter in 1959 at age 18.

She gave birth to her children, Donald Wayne (Portland, ME), Stanley Byron (Glassboro, NJ), and Robert Glenn (Columbia, MO) Ritter. They gave her 8 grandchildren: Katie and Jake (Rob & Jan); Kali and Elena (Don & Carol); Allison, Megan, Andrew, and Connor (Stan & Joan). She married George Coraluzzo in 1973, who brought her two more children: Michael (St Augustine, FL) and Trina (Blackwood, NJ), and a grandson, Anthony, and a granddaughter, Kayla (Mike and Donna).

Kaye and George have 6 great grandchildren, Aleeah and Hadley, Braylynn and Avianna, Viggo and Georgianna. Her passion for God, family, and music permeated her existence. She was a member of Gloucester County Community Church, where she was active in the children’s and senior’s teaching and music ministries.

In 1970, while attending Gloucester County College and Rowan University, she became employed at Slack, Inc., a medical publishing company, and retired in 2001 after 30 years, rising from typist to Executive/Managing Editor of the Journal of Investigative Medicine (a.k.a., Clinical Research). She enjoyed her career immensely. She enjoyed the final season of her life by traveling, creating computer graphic photo albums of memories, spending extensive time with her beloved husband and children and grandchildren, and researching the meaning of life and the hope we have in Jesus Christ.

Relatives and friends are invited to her visitation on Wednesday, May 8th from 10:00 – 11:00 AM at the Gloucester County Community Church, 359 Chapel Heights Road, Washington Twp. , Sewell, NJ, where a memorial service will follow at 11:00 AM. Flowers would be appreciated, but for those who desire, memorial donations may be made to the Children’s Ministry at the Gloucester County Community Church, 359 Chapel Heights Road, Sewell, NJ 08080.
