He passed away on January 27, 2019 at the Timpanogos Hospital at the age of 76. Keith was raised in Springville with his siblings. He served in the United States Army at Fort Lewis in Washington state from 1960 to 1963 as a diesel mechanic.

On December 29, 1961 he married the love of his life, Carol L. Hancock in Spanish Fork, UT. From this union came four children. Keith and Carol recently celebrated 57 years or marriage.

Keith was a longtime member of the Operating Engineers. He worked many years as a field technician for Caterpillar and Wheeler Machinery. Keith welcomed any mechanical task and could fix almost anything.

After many years traveling for work, he opened his own business in order to be closer to home. Keith would start his days long before sunrise in order to attend afternoon functions and sporting events that his children were involved with. He spent countless hours as a coach, support, and a mentor for all of his children, a job that brought him much pride and joy.

Keith’s grandchildren were his world. He loved to take them to one of his favorite coffee shops where he introduced the kids to his friends and taught them valuable life lessons over a hot cup of coffee. It wasn’t uncommon to see Keith take the kids for a ride on his lawnmower around the block when the weather was warm.

There have been numerous animals throughout the years in the Huff household, Keith cared for them all. Without doubt, his greatest bond was with his most recent dog, “Chance” a.k.a. “Bonehead”. Keith is survived by his wife; Carol; son, Jeff Huff of Springville; daughter, Jennifer Childs and husband, Sean of Provo; son, Jake Huff of Cortez, CO; and son, Jesse Huff and wife, Dannae of Pocatello, ID; and his nine grandchildren, Christian, Jessica, Te’a, Kaden, Joe, Chase, Jessica, Emmitt, and Trevin.

He is also survived by his siblings, Sharon Zobell, Peggy Horton, Brenda Dallin, Jan Robinson, and Jack Mangum; numerous in-laws, nieces and nephews. Keith was preceded in death by his parents; his stepfather, Ed Mangum; and his brother, Milton Wayne Huff.
