OBITUARY Keith Richard Hall Sr. April 29, 1945 – January 9, 2019 Keith Richard Hall Sr., 73, went home to be with the Lord on January 9, 2019. He was born April 29, 1945. Keith is preceded in death by his mother and father, Thomas and Alma Hall, his brother, Tom Jr., and a granddaughter, Emily Joy Lewis.

Keith is survived by his wife: Dorothy Mullen-Hall; his children: Tina and Ray Straiton, Bethany Campbell and fiancé, Sylvain Lavoie, Jason and Kim Hall, Keith and Kim Hall Jr., Dotti and Rob Price, George and Patricia Lewis, Michael and Wandaliz Vasquez, Lou Vasquez, and April and Gene Maggi; 22 grandchildren; and 2 great grandchildren. Among the grieving are also his companion dogs, Cindy and Nicky, and his cat, Tinker. Keith was a faithful member of the Watauga First Church of God congregation, where he had many good friends.

He was a veteran of the Vietnam War, proudly serving in the US Air Force. Keith took special joy in raising an annual vegetable garden, enjoyed wood-working in his shop, and fishing with his sons. He loved animals and rescued many over the years, particularly through Feral Friends of Greene County.

He was a retired CNC machinist of 30 years. He had a passion for music ministry. He was the lead singer for the Gospel group, Soul Seekers, a cast member of the group, Disciples in Drama, and worship leader for two Church of God congregations.

Keith served with Jim Hughes Ministries during the 80’s and as a chaplain for camp ground ministries in the 70’s. The family will receive friends 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. Tuesday, January 15, at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home. The funeral services will be held in the funeral home chapel on Tuesday at 1:00 p.m. with Rev.

H. Gerald Rudd officiating. Interment will follow in Mt Olivet Cemetery. The Greene County Honor Guard and the Tennessee National Guard will conduct a military graveside service.

Pallbearers will be George Lewis, Michael Vasquez, Jason Hall, Keith Hall Jr., Dustin Willis, and Dennis Cox. John “Ed” Skeans will serve as honorary pallbearer. The family would like to extend a special thanks to the James H. Quillen VA, home health staff and Avalon Hospice, especially Mary and Terri.
