Obituary for Kellie Christine Twining Kellie Christine Twining (Wilson) was born in Rapid City, South Dakota on June 25, 1979 to Rad and Tonya Wilson. Shortly after her birth, they moved back home to Michigan. Kellie spent most of her childhood in Paw Paw, MI.
As a kid she loved doing art projects, 4-H, camping, ski trips, spending summers at her grandparents lake house and trying to hide from her annoying little sister! She graduated in the class of 1997 from Paw Paw High School. There, she had many close friendships.
She was a cheerleader all the way through high school. She loved nothing more than cheering at Friday night football games. Kellie went on to graduate from Tri-State University.
She graduated with a Bachelors of Science in Computer Aided Drafting and Design Technology. While at Tri-State, Kellie met Kristofor. They were married August 31, 2003.
Kellie and Kristofor settled in Muskegon, MI. They had two beautiful children together, Kade (10) and Ally (7). She was an incredible mother and had the patience of Job.
Everyone that knew her, loved her. She remained a stay at home mom for many years, until the opportunity came to be the librarian at her children’s school, Muskegon Catholic Central. Since then, she has completely immersed herself in all things school related.
She was only hired for 9 hours a week, but you would never know she wasn’t full time! She selflessly poured herself into the library and revamped it to make it her own. She also took on the responsibility of President of Home and School this year and has planned and organized many school activities.
There was nothing that made Kellie happier than being with her family. Some of her best times were spent visiting with her parents and her sister’s family. We’d all laugh until we cried, every time!
She adored her nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles, cousins, grandparents, and brother-in-law. There was absolutely nothing she wouldn’t do for them, or anyone else for that matter. Her heart was made of gold and she loved unconditionally.
Saturday, December 8, 2018, we unexpectedly lost this beautiful soul to a sudden brain aneurysm. She was out and about running errands and had stopped to get her favorite smoothie. While there, she suddenly felt sick and within minutes, God took her before she suffered.
Though her official date of death is December 9th, she was placed on life support Saturday evening. She was kept “alive” just as long as it would take for the Gift of Life team to arrive and allow her to pass a hero. Kellie is going to live on in our hearts forever as well as in the lives of the people she would have been honored to know she saved.
Kellie is survived by her husband Kris, son Kade, daughter Ally, parents Rad and Tonya Wilson of Paw Paw, MI, sister Kasie (Cory) Williamson of Mattawan, MI, two nieces, Kayla and Bryleigh Williamson, two nephews, Brock and Blake Williamson, in-laws, Cathy and Ron Carr of Marion, Ohio, Don Twining of Toledo, Ohio, and grandma, Shirley Johnson of Pawleys Island, South Carolina.
