Obituary for Keith Fauble A beloved husband, father, grandfather, and brother, Keith Fauble passed away in Grand Rapids on December 9, 2018 at the age of 62 following a courageous battle with cancer. He was born in Muskegon, Michigan in 1956 to Kenneth and Sally Fauble. Keith attended North Muskegon High School and studied at Muskegon Community College, where he met his wife Jill, who was always his sunshine.
He and Jill Leann (Cramer) Fauble, were married on November 20, 1976, and recently celebrated their 42-5 wedding anniversary. Keith earned an Accounting degree from Grand Valley State College, and served with honor in the United States Amy. He also proudly volunteered with the North Muskegon Fire Department for 25 years.
Keith and Jill have faithfully attended Harvest Spring Lake Chapel for 7 years. During the last year of his life, Keith enjoyed cruising through Alaska, visits with his sons, daughters-in-law and grandchildren, boat rides and family time at Bear Lake, savoring authentic Texan barbeque, dancing at his niece’s wedding, and an early Christmas celebration on December 1. Keith is survived by his wife, Jill of Muskegon, sons: Christopher (Emily) Fauble of Johns Creek, Georgia, Brian (Cindy) Fauble of Austin, Texas and Jeremy (Bekah) Fauble of Grand Rapids, Michigan, along with grandchildren: Dakota, Cassandra, Luke, William, Asher and Timothy.
He was a proud grandpa, and loved spending time with family, including the four-legged members. Keith also is survived by brother, Michael (Connie) Fauble of Grand Rapids, and sisters, Jill (Jerome) Jelinek and Beth (Jeff) Howe, both of Traverse City, along with many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents.
We will be celebrating Keith’s life with a visitation Thursday, December 13th from 6-8 PM at The Lee Chapel of Systema Funeral & Cremation Services (6291 Harvey St, Norton Shores, MI 49444) and a memorial service Friday, December 14th starting at 1:00 PM at Harvest Spring Lake Chapel (225 E Exchange St, Spring Lake, MI 49456).
