Kelvin “Tookie” Yarnell Johnson January 22, 1964 – May 15, 2019 Share this obituary Sign Guestbook| Send Sympathy Card On January 22, 1964 the first child was born to Rev. Elvin & Estella Johnson. They named him Kelvin Yarnell Johnson.

Kelvin attended school in Cuero. At a young age, Kelvin confessed a hope in Christ at Little Zion Baptist Church and was baptized by the late Rev. A.B. Bedford.

Kelvin married the love of his life, Regina January 21, 1992 in Cuero. Kelvin was employed at Mid. Tex and Cuero Livestock commission for many years.

On Wednesday, May 15, 2019 God touched another one of his angels…Well done, thy good and faithful servant, come home and rest. Kelvin was truly loved by everyone who knew him. He leaves to mourn his loving and devoted parents, Rev.

Elvin & Estella Johnson; his loving and caring wife, Regina Johnson; daughters, LaVera and Kermika Johnson; beloved sister, Resia (Brian) Leggett; brothers, Elvin “Kojak” (Lisa) Johnson and Kragen Johnson all of Cuero; grandchildren, Trentel, Lakelvyonnia, Dekelvion and Tyesha; a special friend, Michael (Volly) Williams; along with many nieces, nephews and other friends. Kelvin was preceded in death by a son, Anthony Johnson; and brother, Michael Johnson. Visitation will be Saturday, May 25, 2019, 10 a.m. L.E. Meador Encampment Grounds with Funeral Services to begin at 11 a.m. with Rev.

Matthew Bryant eulogizing and Rev. Marcellus Wesley officiating. Pallbearers include Jermaine Houston, Willie C. Green, Jr., Earnest Lang, Melvin Patton, John Ridyolph, Jr., Leonard Jones, Jr. Honorary pallbearers are all of his friends.
