Ken Blahut, 75 of Kent, died September 14, 2018. He was born June 3, 1943 to Rudolph & Gladys Blahut in Irvington, NJ. He graduated from Millville High School in 1961 in Millville, NJ.

In 1965, he received his Bachelor’s Degree from Stevens Institute of Technology. Ken moved to Seattle in 1966 and went to work for Boeing. He married Joyce Fisher, April 18, 1970 in Stone Mountain, GA.

He became a licensed Thoroughbred Horse owner & trainer. He owned & operated K&J Distributers until his retirement in 2016. Ken enjoyed jogging, politics, & spending time working on his property.

He loved spending time with his family. Ken is survived by his wife, Joyce Blahut of Kent; son, Joey Blahut of Seattle; daughters, Emily Patrick (Nick) of Spanaway, Jeanne McPherren of Kent, Ann Haucke (Brian) of Covington, & Elizabeth Blahut of Kent. He is also survived by his brothers, Dennis Blahut (Julie) of Wayne, NJ & Rudolph Blahut (Nadia) of Landsdale, PA; 8 grandchildren & 1 great grandson.

A graveside service will be held Thursday, September 20, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at Evergreen Memorial Park in Enumclaw, WA.
