“Two things in life are certain, death for the one who was born, and life for the one who dies. Therefore in what is unavoidable, there is no cause for grief”. Leota Berlyn Brown Leota passed away peacefully surrounded by family that loved her very much and at 94 years old she had lived a full life.

Her father was a carpenter and as a child she traveled all over the United States. She met and married Lincoln Clark Brown in 1947 in Wauneta, Nebraska. From that union they had three children: Pamela June Brown (Rice), James Clark Brown, and Patricia Lear Brown (McFadden).

Her son, James, preceded her in death. She was blessed with 8 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. She made an impression in each of their lives and for that they will be forever grateful.

Leota leaves behind many nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends who loved her beyond words. Rest in peace Mom, we will love you always.
