Obituary for Kenn Horn Kenn Horn, of Granbury, TX, passed away September 16, 2018, at the age of 87. He was born April 6, 1931, in Ft. Wayne, IN, to Thomas Alexander and Midred Hazel (Harford) Horn.

Kenn served his country proudly in the United States Air Force during the Korean conflict. He played in a band for the USO while in Korea. He even purchased a plane just for flying the band around.

Kenn also owned Grimes convenience store where many service men would stop in. A member of First Christian Church in Rockwall, TX, he was instrumental in moving the church to the new building. Kenn was instrumental in purchasing land in order to move the church to the current location.

His hobbies were tennis, swimming and golf, and he enjoyed living life to the fullest. Kenn will be missed by many and remembered always. Kenn is survived by his loving children: Marshall Horn and wife Judy of Keller, TX, Alexander Horn of Houston, TX, and Kenneth Horn of Cleburne, TX; grandchildren: Loss Horn and wife Joy of Waxahachie, TX, Alexandria Hayden and husband John of Houston and Adam Horn of Houston; great grandson: Wyatt Horn of Waxahachie; sister: Mildred Leet of Depere, WI; and previous wife: Mary Shaffer of Cleburne; along with a host of loving relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father: Thomas Horn; mother: Mildred Horn; brother: Richard Horn; stepmother: Helen Horn; sister: Clarise Horn; and great granddaughter: Eleanor Joy Horn. A celebration of Kenn’s life will be held 2:00pm Thursday, September 27, 2018, at Reflections at Rest Haven Funeral Home – Rockwall Location. A gathering for family and friends will be held one hour prior to the service at the funeral home, beginning at 1:00pm.
