Obituary for Kenneth C. Chin Born in China, Ken grew up in Trinidad before coming to the US where he pursued his education at the New Jersey Institute of Technology in Newark NJ, achieving a master’s degree in electrical engineering. He spent most of his career designing chips for IBM. Besides work, his passions included biking, swimming, hiking, exercising, working on cars, listening to classical music and spending time with his family.

He loved the outdoors and had visited many national parks over the years. He is survived by his loving wife, Joyce, children, Jason, Tiffany and Brian and 6-month old granddaughter, Jaina. He was a warm and caring son, brother, husband, father and friend.
