It is with great sadness that the family of Kenneth F. Dunn announces his passing at home Friday, January 25th 2019, at the age of 69 years. He was born December 3rd 1951 in Chicago, Illinois, the middle child of Michael Dunn and Elise Lee. In 1969, Kenneth enlisted in the United States Marine Corp and served until 1973.

Following an honorable discharge, Kenneth married Sarah Jewel Taylor on Friday, August 13th 1976. Kenneth then enrolled at Northeastern Illinois University where he earned a BA in Math. A former business owner, Kenneth also worked for the Chicago Tribune, Businessland, and Cornerstone during his time in Chicago.

In time, he went on to earn a MA in Educational Research at the University of Memphis. As an educator for twenty years, Kenneth was a beloved professor of Graphic Arts at State Tech, now known as Southwest Tennessee Community College. In his private life he was a talent graphic artist.

He is survived by his loving wife of 43 years, Sarah, his children Gloria, Eleanor, Margaret, and Mitchell and his granddaughter Evelyn Christine. Memorial services will been held Friday, February 1, 2019. For Ken, by Sarah Dunn What do you say when he is gone?
