Kenneth Leonard Beach Kenneth L. “Ken” Beach, age 71, of Forest Junction, passed away surrounded by his family on Monday, November 12, 2018, as the result of a tractor accident. He was born on November 21, 1946, son of the late James and Marion (Mader) Beach. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War.

He married Mary K. Silva on February 17, 1968; she preceded him in death in 2001. Ken was a truck driver by trade, and started his own company, Beach Enterprises, which he successfully ran until his passing. He loved racing of all kinds, especially following his grandson, Ross Kenseth.

Ken was involved with many activities at his church, Christ the Rock Community Church, including a mission trip to Peru. Ken enjoyed riding motorcycles, snowmobiles and any other adventures he could get into. He was very creative and had countless interesting ideas.

Ken is survived by his long time, loving companion, Vicki Zobel; children: Lori (John) Wittmann, Lisa (Don) Bandaly, Linda (Brian) Petersen, Kathy (John) Zobel, Kerry (Jason) Zobel and Kelly (Joseph) Chernowski; grandchildren: Travis, Mariah, Lorin, Vince, Jennifer, Ross, Rachel, Darian, Kaelyn, Holden, Ellie, Louise, Naomi, Faith, Lydia, Esther, Luke and Linus; great grandchildren: Lexi and Lila; siblings: Phyllis Beimborn, Marilyn Beach, Don (Kathy) Beach, Elly (Kurt) Mueller and Carla (John) Engelhardt; sisters-in-law: Anna, Fay and Cathy; “adopted granddaughter”, Kristine; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. Ken was preceded in death by his parents, James and Marion; his wife, Mary K. Beach; granddaughter, Amanda Wittmann; brothers: Jim, Frank and Kevin Beach; brother-in-law, Dick Beimborn; sisters-in-law: Sandy Beach and Lee (Shiva) Subramanya; mother and father-in-law: Maria and Lionel Silva. We would like to express our heartfelt thanks to the first responders, trauma unit and the nursing staff at ThedaCare, especially nurses Rachel and Shannon who tended to Ken’s every need.

Their dedication and hard work was greatly appreciated. Visitation will be held on Friday, November 16, 2018, from 3:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the VERKUILEN-VAN DEURZEN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, FORMERLY BOETTCHER FUNERAL HOME, 2401 Fieldcrest Drive, Kaukauna. Visitation will continue on Saturday morning at Christ the Rock Community Church, W6254 U.S. 10-114, Menasha, from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the service at 11:00 a.m. Entombment will be in Greenlawn Memorial Park.
