Vietnam era Army Veteran – Kenneth Mockbee, born June 23, 1941, passed away July 17, 2018. Loving husband of 50 years of Glenna Mockbee (nee Combs), beloved father of David (Traci) Mockbee, Pamela (John) Franz, and Michelle (Don) Grau, cherished grandfather of Doug, McKenzie, Zach, Courtnie, and great grandfather of Mayia. Kenneth was a Vietnam era Army Veteran where is was stationed in Germany with the Persian Missile Unit.

He attended the University of Cincinnati College Engineering before working for GM. He was a boys and girls coach for many years coaching baseball, soccer, and basketball. Kenneth and his wife Glenna were very active with therapy dogs and taking then to visit various organizations.

He was a member of the Masonic Lodge and Shriners, playing trumpet in the Shriner’s Band. He loved the Reds, Bengals, and most of all being active with his grandchildren. The family of Kenneth will be receiving friends for a a visitation at Shorten and Ryan Funeral Home – Mason (400 Reading Rd.

, Mason, OH 45040) on Saturday, July 21, 2018 from 9:00 AM – 11:00 AM with a funeral service to follow beginning at 11:00 AM. Donations may be made in honor of Kenneth to Therapy Pets of Greater Cincinnati (P. O Box 1392, Cincinnati, OH 45071) and Pet Partners (action.
