Kenneth Wayne Head, 66, of Salem, AL passed away Sunday, February 10, 2019 at Piedmont Midtown Medical Center. A funeral service will be held 2:00 pm EST Thursday, February 14, 2019 at Vance Brooks Funeral Home, Phenix City, AL with Rev. Bill Bryan officiating.

Interment will follow at Lakeview Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 pm EST at the funeral home. Mr. Head was born July 28, 1952 in Willston, FL to the late Leroy Head, Sr. and Pauline Lusk Head.

Kenny proudly served in the US Army. He worked for the sheriff’s department and retired from the US Postal Service. WWE wrestling, the mountains and the Florida Gators were always topics he loved to talk about.

Other than his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife Sheila Ann Head, brother, Leroy Head, Jr. and sister, Joyce Arnold. He is survived by his 4 daughters, Michelle Page husband Brian, Jennifer Bryan husband Gracin, Mandy Austin husband Kevin and Paula Beckon husband Travis; 3 brothers, Robert Head wife Mora, Eugene Head, and Billy Head, Sr. wife Ginger; grandchildren Brandon, Blake, Savanah, Christian, Logan, Morgan, Caitlyn and Tyler; a large extended family and many friends.
