Kermit “Dick” Bird Jr. is walking in the woods with his family in Heaven since April 7, 2018. He is survived by his loving wife of 32 years, Ruth, four children, David (Heather) Hommerson Jr., Michael (Suzy) Bird, Dennis (Dawn) Hommerson, Aimee Hommerson; eight grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; two brothers, Kal (Arlene) Bird, Kevin (Linda) Bird; several nieces, nephews and cousins. Dick worked for many years at Amway Hotel in shipping and receiving and at K & D (Environmental Services).

He served for three years in Vietnam as a Combat Engineer. There will be a service in his honor on Saturday, April 14th at 11:00 a.m. with visitation one hour prior at Resurrection Life Church, 3233 10 Mile Rd NE, Rockford, MI 49341.
