On Saturday, July 14, 2018 Keung Pang of Sandy Spring, MD. Beloved father of Louis (Tanya) and Elaine Pang; grandfather of Penelope and Evangeline Pang; brother of Kwok Chung and Kwok Leung. Keung Pang born in Guangzhou, China left his home in search of wealth.

He arrived in New York City on a commercial trading vessel, where he worked as a deck hand, after visiting ports in Korea, Japan, and South America. When he set foot in America he decided he wanted to stay. He had little experience as a chef but found work in Chinatown resturants and would go on to open several resturants of his own.

He met his ex-wife through mutual friends and had two children. He died due to brain cancer and is missed by his family. Visitation will be at the Chapel at Norbeck Memorial Park, 16225 Batchellors Forest Road, Olney, MD 20832 on Saturday, July 21, 2018 from 11:00 until 11:30 am where funeral service will begin at 11:30 am.
