SUN PRAIRIE-Kevin G. Sylve, age 60, of Sun Prairie, passed away on Sunday, Oct. 14, 2018. He was born on Jan.

20, 1958, the son of Paul and Marie (Ducré) Sylve. Kevin worked as a Medical Reimbursement Technician for the VA Hospital and previously at Meriter Hospital as a Billing Coordinator. Kevin had a great sense of humor.

He had a love for all things science fiction and spent his spare time exploring the mysteries of astronomy. Kevin is survived by his wife of 36 years, Amy; his mother, Marie; two daughters, Kristina James-Omernick and Sarah (Fiance, Joe Betts) Sylve; and grandsons, Adonis and Orion James-Omernick.

He was preceded in death by his father, Paul; and brother, Henry. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at IMMACULATE HEART OF MARY CATHOLIC CHURCH, 5101 Schofield St., Madison, at 11 a.m. on Monday, Oct. 29, 2018, with Father Chad Droessler presiding.

The burial will follow at Resurrection Cemetery. Visitation will be held at GUNDERSON EAST FUNERAL AND CREMATION CARE, 5203 Monona Dr., Madison, from 4 p.m. until 6 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 28, 2018, and at the church from 10 a.m. until the time of the Mass on Monday.
