Kim Sargent Taylor August 16, 1962 – January 6, 2019 Kim Sargent Taylor, beloved son of Hal S. and Mary R. Taylor, long-time residents of Idaho Falls, passed away Sunday, January 6th, 2019. He entered eternal rest at the age of 57 years old, far too young. He follows in death, an infant sister, Carolyn Taylor, passing on January 24, 1958 and their father, Hal, who passed away February 11, 2004.

Kim was born on August 16, 1962 in Idaho Falls, Idaho. Kim was blessed to possess a tender heart and often helped those less fortunate. He enjoyed hard work, well done.

He excelled in welding, electronics, math, and the culinary arts. He was an instructor of math and electronics classes, and enjoyed leading formal gospel discussion groups. Kim was a hopeful and grateful soul, which is reflected in his poems, writings and the book he was authoring.

May he know that he was loved and appreciated for all the good that he did while in this life. May he rest in peace, and be welcomed into His loving arms. Kim is survived by his mother, Mary, of Shelley, Idaho; his brothers W. Craig Taylor of St. George, Utah and H. David Taylor of Cody, Wyoming.

Also, a surviving sister, Terri L. Greenwood of Parker, Colorado. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, January 12, 2019, at Wood Funeral Home (273 N. Ridge). The family will visit with friends on Saturday from 10-10:45 a.m. prior to the services at the funeral home.

Burial will be at Fielding Memorial Park.
