Mr. Kim Smith was born May 31, 1964 to the late Jeanette P. Smith and the late Mr. John W. Williams. Mr. Smith is survived by Mr. Jeremy and Mrs. Aubrielle Thompson (daughter & son-in-law), Ms.Cassandra Young (partner), Jeffrey Smith and Lamar Smith (brothers), Elaine Camp (sister) and Mr. Charlie B. and Mrs. Carolyn Stephens (sister and brother-in-law). Mr. Smith attended Gainesville High School during the early 1980’s.

Soon after, he began working at Northeast Georgia Medical Center where in 1986, his daughter was born. Mr. Smith was known for his friendly and loving personality. He never discriminated against anyone when making a new friend.

He leaves behind a host of friends in Gainesville whom were part of the Atlanta Street community and some he met along the way. He loved to write music, poetry and make a living. Mr. Smith’s daughter shares her father’s passion of writing poetry as well.

His family is grateful the support and prayers that have poured in during this time. At the time of Mr. Smith’s passing, he was expecting his first grandchild due in November 2019. To send flowers or a memorial gift to the family of Mr. Kim Smith please visit our Sympathy Store.
