Verona – Kimberly L. Melzer, age 49, passed away on Monday, March 11, 2019 after a long battle with cancer, at Agrace HospiceCare in Fitchburg, surrounded by her family. She was born April 11, 1969 in Elkhorn, Wis. , the daughter of Richard Kluge and Debra (Beaver) Elliot.

Kim had a contagious laugh and a funny sense of humor. Kim loved coloring, quilting, walking barefoot on the beach, and reciting Friends episodes. Most of all, she loved her kids.

Kim is survived by her three children, Connor, Nathan and Lauryn; mother, Debra; father, Richard; siblings, Ricky Kluge, Bryan Kluge, Tiffany Elliot and Cody Elliot; her loyal canine companion, Sally; and extended family. She is preceded in death by Grandma Agnes. A visitation will be held from 3:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, March 14, 2019 at Ryan Funeral Home, 220 Enterprise Drive, Verona.
