Kimberly S. “Kimmy” Ramun Boardman: Kimberly Sue “Kimmy” Ramun, 42, of Boardman, passed away on Sunday morning, May 19, 2019. She was born August 4, 1976 in Youngstown, the daughter of David Ramun and Sally Motz and was a lifelong area resident. Kim was a graduate of Poland High School along with earning her Bachelor’s Degree from Youngstown State University.

She was currently employed as a waitress with Los Gallos Restaurant. Kim had many passions throughout her life. She especially enjoyed spending time with her daughter Alyssa and her nieces.

She leaves behind to hold onto her memories, a daughter Alyssa Kuzan of Boardman, her mother Sally (James) Mentzer of Boardman, her father David (Fiancé Michelle Barry) Ramun of Lowellville, and a brother Dave (Tammie) Ramun along with many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents John (Sophia) Motz and paternal grandparents Joseph and (Ida) Ramun. There will be a Celebration of Life calling hours for Kim on Thursday, May 23, 2019 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the Thompson Filicky Funeral Home, 4221 Market St., Boardman.

Per Kim’s wishes there will be no funeral services. In lieu of flowers, material contributions may be made to Kimberly’s family to either help defray expenses at this difficult time or at Home Savings & Loan Bank in Alyssa’s name to aid in her college education. Family and friends may visit www.
