Obituary for Kristy Lorraine Ellis Kristy Lorraine Ellis, age 47, of Athens, formerly of Dayton, died Monday, November 5, 2018 at Erlanger Medical Center in Chattanooga. She was born June 12, 1971 in Chicago, IL. Kristy was preceded in death by husband, Dwight Lane; parents, Marvin LeRoy Ellis and Diane (Turek) Ellis; brother, Michael LeRoy Ellis; sisters, Justine “Tina” Ellis Brown and Sheri Ann Ellis Garrett.

Kristy lived in Rhea County most of her life before moving to Athens two years ago. She was a CNA at the Rhea County Nursing home many years ago, enjoyed playing poker and spades, and attended the Friendship Full Gospel Church in Dayton. She is survived by her sons, Christopher (Tyler Williams) Smith of Athens and Shawn (Shea) Smith of Riceville; grandchildren, Tyler King and Cadence King; brother, Robert Ellis of Spring City; and special niece Jessica Sharp of Evensville.

Funeral services for Kristy will be held Friday at 6:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Rev. John Fields officiating. Please share your memories of Kristy on her online guest register at www.
