LaJuana Jean Marcum Patrick, 65, of Broken Bow, OK went to her heavenly home on June 9, 2018 at her home surrounded by family. LaJuana was born on October 3, 1952 in Key West, Florida to the late Billy Gene Marcum and Geleta Clinton Marcum. LaJuana was a lifelong resident of Broken Bow, where she devoted her life to teaching.

After 30 years of teaching math at Broken Bow Public Schools, she then went on to teach math at Horatio, AR for another 10 years. LaJuana truly loved all of her students and co-workers and touched many lives. She was always kind to everyone and willing to help those in need.

She was a woman of faith and loved serving the Lord, where she was a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church. She mostly enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren. Her hobbies include antiquing and planting flowers.

LaJuana married Jimmy Dale Patrick on July 3, 1970. She was preceded in death by her father, Billy Gene Marcum; paternal grandfather, Floyd Duke Marcum and paternal grandmother, Addie Mae Marcum; maternal grandfather, Lesley Albert Clinton and maternal grandmother, Gertrude Clinton; and cousin, Scott Clinton. She is survived by her husband of 47 years, Jimmy Patrick of the home; son Dr. Marc Patrick and wife Sarah of Broken Bow; daughter, Kristan Morris and husband Allen of Norman, OK; mother, Geleta Marcum of Broken Bow; sister, Debbie Williams and husband Daryl of Broken Bow; brother, Clint Marcum and wife Mande of Durant, OK; sister-in-law, Sharon Green and husband James of Broken Bow; sister-in-law, Sandy and husband Ken Cox of Broken Bow; grandchildren, Caleigh, Cole, and Cade Patrick of Broken Bow and Brock Morris of Norman, OK; along with many other nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews whom she loved so dearly.

Lastly, her caregiver, Debbie Schoolcraft Harris. A visitation for family and friends will be held on Tuesday, June 12, 2018 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Bunch-Singleton Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 10:00 AM Wednesday, June 13, 2018 at the Oak Grove Baptist Church, Broken Bow, OK.

Graveside will follow at Octavia Cemetery in Octavia, OK.
