Obituary for Lamont Brickus Lamont Brickus, loving son of Ida M. Brickus and the late James Brickus, was born on November 7, 1952 in Baltimore, Maryland. He departed this life on June 30, 2018 after a short illness. Lamont received his education in the Baltimore City Public Schools System.

He attended Edmondson High School where he ran Cross Country Track. Lamont worked various jobs throughout his life. He worked several years for the Baltimore City Department of Public Works as a Maintenance Worker.

He also worked as a Car Mechanic and as a Floor Finisher. Lamont was a joyful person, always smiling and laughing. If you were in his company he would make you smile and laugh with him.

He was a great jokester. He was good hearted, always willing to help others, and cared for several of his friends during their illness. Lamont found enjoyment watching all types of Westerns.

He leaves to cherish his memory : 1 daughter, Alita Generette (Earl) , 2 sons, Sherrod Brickus Sr. and Antione Brickus, 5 sisters, Joanna Kearney (Sylvester) of Greenville, North Carolina; Laverne Briscoe (Kenneth) of Brea, California; Ava Lawson (Masselon) of Baltimore, Maryland, Anita Davis (Kurt) of Upper Marlboro, Maryland and Sheila Salisbury (Walter Sr.) of Greenville, North Carolina, 2 brothers, Jonathan Brickus Sr. and Henry J. Brickus both of Baltimore, Maryland, 6 Grandchildren, Tre’, Zair, Erica, Sherrod Jr., Cameron and Heaven, nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends. A special thanks to Mr. Ronald Woods and Trinity Arms Assisted Living for the love and care they provided to Lamont. Upcoming Events Visitation 2018 JUL 6.
