Lampkin Dunn, Jr. April 04, 1943 – January 14, 2019 Share this obituary Send Flowers Sign Guestbook| Send Private Condolences| Send Sympathy Card Mr. Lampkin Dunn, Jr., 75, of Montrose, AR, died Monday, January 14, 2019 at his residence. He was a native of Portland, AR, a past resident of Detroit, MI, for 25 plus years, and a resident of Montrose, AR, for the past 25 years. He was a member of Brown Temple Baptist Church in Portland and was a disabled Vietnam Veteran.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Lampkin Dunn, Sr. and Elmira King-Dunn; two sisters, Elanor M. Woods and Bonceal D. Lewis. Mr. Lampkin enjoyed visiting with his family and friends, and fishing. He is survived by his wife of 16 years, Betty Robinson-Dunn; two sons, Reggie Perry, of Las Vegas, NV, and Ivory Dunn, of Detroit, MI; one daughter, Patricia Simmons(Reggie), of Killeen,TX; three step children, Teresa Gilmore, Kimberly McKnight, and Trent Wilson; four brothers, Gilbert Dunn(Minnie) of Detroit, MI, Wilbert Dunn(Myra) of Bloomfield, MI, Elvis Dunn(Fairillia), of San Jose, CA, and Chester Dunn(Paulene), of Montrose, AR; three sisters, Laverne Love, of Farmington Hill, MI, Beatrice Briggs, of Westland, MI, and Archie B. Winfree, of Detroit, MI; eight grandchildren; one great grandchild; and a host of nieces, nephews, other family, and friends.

Service will be Saturday, January 26, 2019, 11:00 A.M., at Cromwell Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Kentrell Woods officiating. Active Pallbearers are Larry Woods, Lannie Woods, Bennie Findley, Charles Bynum, Larry Bethune, and Donvon Peoples.

Burial, with military honors, will be at Childress Chapel Cemetery in Parkdale, AR. Viewing will be Friday, January 25, 2019, 1-5:00 P.M., at the funeral home.
