Our dear mother/grandmother, known to the world as LaRaine Nelson 83 but to us as Grandma Herky passed away peacefully on November 29, 2018. She was born in Brigham City, Utah to Alfred and Lydia Hansen on December 7, 1934. She married Ellis Deloy Nelson on January 17, 1953 and had three children.

We will remember our mother/grandmother for her love of Dachshunds, birds, gardening and her witty sense of humor. LaRaine is preceded in death by her husband, Deloy, her brothers; Merlin, Vern, Wesley, Dee and Lee, and her parents; Alfred and Lydia. LaRaine’s life is remembered by all those she touched but more importantly her sister, Ila, her children; Kim, Kathy, and Jenny, her cousins and in-laws and all of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, December 5, 2018 at 12 noon at the Brigham City Cemetery, 325 S 300 E, Brigham City, UT 84302 Condolences may be sent to the family at www. myers-mortuary.com.
