Mr. Larrell Henry Price, 83, of Piedmont, passed away on Friday, January 18, 2019 at Gadsden Regional Medical Center. The Piedmont native was the son of Henry Francis and Josephine Bryan Price. Mr. Price proudly served his country during the Korean War in the US Navy as a Seaman.

He received a degree in engineering and was a railroad engineer on the train that passed through Piedmont and was an Architect for the US Veterans Affairs. He was married to Donna Gail Sewell Price for 55 years. Until recent years with his health failing, he enjoyed his morning trip to Jack’s to eat and enjoy the fellowship with the local men.

He loved the mountains and the Borden Springs area. He is survived by his wife, Donna Price; son, Shannon Price; daughter: Lee Ann Simms; grandchildren: Joshua Price and Justin Price, Kyle Simms and Taylor Simms; and great grandchildren: Emma Grace Price and the 4 Simms grandchildren; and sister, Ethleen Langston. As per his wishes, he will be cremated and there will be no services.
