EDGERTON— Larry A. Scheldrup, age 65, of Edgerton, died Sunday, Oct. 7, 2018, at the Wm. S. Middleton Memorial Veterans Hospital, Madison.

He was born in Stanley, ND, on Feb. 12, 1954, the son of John and Anna (Nohr) Scheldrup. Larry proudly served in the US Army during the Vietnam War and had been employed by Rock River Marina in Newville for many years.

He enjoyed playing cards, shooting pool, dancing and socializing with everyone, and was an avid car collector. Larry’s favorite country… Read More » music artist was Dwight Yoakam. He is survived by his daughter, Allison Hemm of Janesville; 3 grandchildren: Kashmyr Clarke, Ethyn Clarke, and Kalifornya Hemm; 3 half siblings: Bob and LeRoy Nohr, and Marlys Juma.

He was preceded in death by his parents and 2 half sisters, Donna Jensen and Marlene Marmon. A Celebration of Larry’s Life will take place from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 11, 2018, at the APFEL EHLERT FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICE, 315 Lord St. (Hwy 51) Edgerton.

Full military honors will conclude the celebration at the Funeral Home. Burial will be held at a later date in the Faith Lutheran Cemetery, Palermo, ND. “Love, it knows no season, it haunts the soul eternally”.
