OBITUARY Larry Ellis Edwards November 25, 1948 – September 24, 2018 Mr. Larry Ellis Edwards, 69, of Pickens went to be with his Lord Monday September 24, 2018. Born in Oconee County he is the son of the late Ellis Edwin Edwards and Erlene Edwards and husband of Mary Edwards. Mr. Edwards served in the United States Army during the Vietnam conflict and a member of Blue Ridge View Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife Mary of 48 years one son; Jason Edwards and his wife Brooke of Easley, one brother; Jack Edward and his wife Louise four sisters; Dale King her husband Jimmy, Pat Kendrick and her husband Roy, Janet Finch and her husband Bill and Diane McGuffin and her husband Charles all of Westminster. Mr. Edwards also leaves a grand daughter Ella Grace Edwards and many nieces and nephews to share in her memory. In addition to his parents Mr. Edwards is predeceased by a sister Linda Greer.
A visitation will be held Thursday September 27, 2018 11 am until 12 pm at Dillard Funeral Home. Graveside services will follow at 12 pm at Hillcrest Memorial Park . In lieu of flowers the family ask donations be sent to be sent to the Blue Ridge Baptist Church Youth department.
