Larry G. Bennett, age 78, of Maineville, Ohio, passed away Tuesday, July 24, 2018 University of Cincinnati in West Chester. He was born January 31, 1940 in Cincinnati, OH, son of the late Ora Glen Bennett and Norma Brewer Bennett. Larry worked as an insurance agent for All State and enjoyed working with the Lutheran Social Services.

He was also an ordained minister. Larry was an accomplished songwriter and singer, he had recorded two cd’s during his lifetime. He graduated from Cincinnati Christian University and was a member of the Ambassador’s Quartet, which traveled extensively throughout the U.S. and had recorded a 45.

Surviving is his wife, Camilla Shambaugh Bennett, whom he married on December 16, 1961, daughter, Starla (Jeff) Bennett Minner, son, Kip Bennett, son, Jeremy Bennett, daughter, Glory (Mike) Bennett Clark, five grandchildren, Josh Bennett, Brandon Minner, Brooke Minner, Alex Clark, and Nicholas Clark, two brothers, Lonnie (Joanne) Bennett and Dale (Cindy) Bennett, and a sister, Patti Chappell. In addition to his parents, Larry was preceded in death by his infant brother, Keith Bennett and a sister, Regina Green.

Funeral Services will be held at Wilmington Church of Christ, 909 W. Locust St. Wilmington, Saturday, July 28, 2018 at 11:30 am with Jack D. Creditt officiating. Interment will follow in the New Antioch Cemetery. Friends will be received at the church on Saturday 10:00 am – 11:30 am.
