Betty L. Holzhauer, age 90, of Wilmington, OH, passed away Tuesday July 24, 2018 at her home. She was born May 31, 1928 in Lakeview, OH, daughter of the late Robert Edgar Hamburger and Miriam Gwendolyn Cavinder. Betty retired as a Cosmetologist for JC Penney at the Salem Mall when the store closed and she was a Girl Scout Leader when her daughter Diana was a young girl.

She had attended church at Jonah’s Run Baptist Church. Surviving are son, Carl Dean (Rhonda) Holzhauer of Wilmington, OH, daughter, Diana Jean (Lee) Zawacki of Uniontown, PA, grandson, Lee Russell Zawacki, 5 Great-Grandchildren. In addition to her parents, Betty was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Holzhauer, granddaughter, Jennifer Jones, and her brother, Ross Robert Hamburger.

Services will be held at Jonah’s Run Baptist Church, 9614 St. Rt. 73 W, Wilmmington, OH, Monday, July 30, 2018 at 11:00 am. Interment will follow in the Royal Oak Cemetery, Brookville, OH.

Friends will be received at the church Monday, July 30, 2018, 10:00 am – 11:00 am. The Fisher-Edgington Funeral Home, Wilmington, is serving the family. Contributions in Betty’s memory may be directed to Community Care Hospice.
