OBITUARY Larry Lester Nelson December 30, 1946 – January 9, 2019 Mr. Larry Lester Nelson, age 72, of Douglasville, GA passed away Tuesday, January 8, 2019. He was born December 30, 1946 in Bellingham, WA. Mr. Nelson enjoyed hunting, fishing and working in his yard.

He was an avid Alabama football fan. Larry was also a coach at Douglas County Hunter Park. He also had a passion for music of all varieties.

Preceding him in death is his wife, Patricia Ann Nelson and parents, Henry and Emma Nelson. He is survived by his sons, Andy (Lee) Nelson and Matt (Rachel) Nelson; his sister, Marsha McCall as well as other family members and friends. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday, January 10, 2019 from 4 until 8 o’clock pm.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, January 11, 2019 at 11 o’clock am in the Rosehaven Chapel. Interment will follow at 1 o’clock pm at Kennesaw Memorial Park. Those who wish to express condolences or share a special memory may do so online at www.
