OBITUARY Larry P. Robison Sr. March 10, 1948 – September 22, 2018 Larry P. Robison, Sr. went to be with the Lord on Saturday, September 22, 2018. Larry was born on March 10, 1948 in Kemah, Texas to Joel Preston Robison and Joyce L. Robison. Larry is survived by his wife of 52 years, Cathy Benner Robison; his children Larry P. Robison, Jr. (Yvette) and Marnie D. Gabrysch (Curt).

He is also survived by his grandchildren Britany Billings Alexander (Caleb), Phoenix P. Robison, Ava S. Robison, Kristen M. Ortiz (Francisco), and Keith M. Gabrysch (Ashley) and his great grandchildren Landon and Hannah Hicks, Chandler and Emma Gabrysch and Francisco Ortiz, Jr He is also survived by his beloved Uncle Mark Albert Phillips, mother-in-law Arlene Benner and brother-in law Ronnie Benner (Gloria) and numerous nieces and nephews. He was proceeded in death by his parents and his beloved sister Donna Sterling and her husband Bubba Sterling, brother-in-law Steve Benner and Father-in-law Archie Benner.

Larry was a mail carrier with the US Postal Service for 38 years and a self-employed contractor. He always talked about how much he loved his people on the mail route and how good they were to him. Larry was a people person who never met a stranger.

He loved to auctioneer for benefits and fundraisers. He also loved to act in plays. He was a loving husband, father, pawpaw, nephew, son-in-law, brother-in-law, uncle, friend and comedian.

He lived life to the fullest each day and saw the best in everything. He showed his family the greatest example of what it means to live, laugh and love. He was a jack of all trades.

He was a postman, roofer, lawn maintenance, Little League and softball coach, shrimp farmer, auctioneer and actor. Pallbearers will be John A. Sterling, Jeff Sterling, Gene Benner, Ben Benner, Cameron Benner, Tommy Oehlke, Chip Wardlaw and Nick LaBarbera. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 26th from 5:00-7:00 at Richardson-Colonial Funeral Home and the funeral will be at the Church of Christ in Port Lavaca on Thursday, September 27th at 10:00 a.m..

Burial will follow in Greenlawn Gardens. Words of comfort may be made to the family at www. richardsoncolonial.com.
