Larry Paul Poindexter, 68, of Grafton and formerly of Clarksburg, passed away Thursday, March 21, 2019 at Grafton City Hospital, with his loving family by his side. He was born August 21, 1950 in Clarksburg, son of the late Benny and Laura Poindexter Wilkes. He was a graduated from Victory High School, Clarksburg, WV, was a member of the Emmanuel Baptist Church in Clarksburg, his faith in God is what made him the person that he was, he enjoyed being with his friends at the Taylor Health Care Center, his favorite passed time was drawing picture of wild life, reading books, loved to play basketball, Larry is survived by, several nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, and lots of friends.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded death by one sister, Phyllis Ann Wilson Kelley. Friends may call at Bartlett Funeral Home, 202 McGraw Ave. Grafton on, Tuesday, March 26, 2019 from 10:00AM until the hour of the service.

Funeral services will he held on Tuesday, March 26, 2019, at 1:00PM at the funeral home with Lay Minister Jimmy Arnold, officiating. Interment will follow at the Stonewall Park Cemetery, Clarksburg. Online condolences may be sent to the Poindexter family at www.
