Master Sergeant (Retired) Larry Richard Lee, Sr., born January 23, 1943 in Portsmouth, Ohio and long-time resident of Choctaw Beach, Florida, went to be with the Lord on Sunday December 16, 2018. Larry served in the United States Air Force for 22 years, retiring in 1983. He was happiest when he was helping others.

He loved his family very much, especially his grandchildren. He served as a Deacon at the Bread of Life Church in Villa Tasso, FL. He enjoyed spending time with his family, fishing and his daily trips to the Bargain Box.

Larry is preceded in death by his parents Samuel and Juanita Lee, his brothers Kenneth and Raymond Lee, his sister Carol Cooper and “Baby Sister”. He is survived by his wife of 52 years Lyndia Wynell Lee, his brother Gary Lee, his three sons, Ricky (Melanie) Lee, Jimmy (Kim), Tommy (Rachel) Lee, five grandchildren: Tasha (Wendall) Estes, Chelsea (Gary) Tennant, Jared (Britany) Lee, Austin Turney and Justin Lee. He also leaves seven great-grandchildren: Padraic, Addyson, Havery, Waylon, Escher, Liv and Mila.

Services will be held Thursday, December 20, 2018 at 2:00 pm with visitation beginning at 1:00 pm at the Heritage Gardens Funeral Home in Niceville, Florida. A private family burial will be held at Barrancas National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family asks anyone wishing to celebrate his life and service to contribute to Fisher House of the Emerald Coast (FHEC, PO Box 2007, Eglin AFB, FL 32542 or online fisherhouseemeraldcoast.org or by phone at 850-259-4956).
