Larry Wayne Johnson, 72, of Quincy, passed away on May 19, 2019 at his home. He is survived by his wife, Carolyn Johnson. Larry was born in Valdosta, GA and grew up in Gadsden County.

He was a U.S. Navy Veteran and served three tours in Vietnam. He retired from Super Value and was a member of Rock Bluff Assembly of God in Bristol. He was an avid outdoorsman and loved spending time with children, especially his grandchildren.

Other survivors include three daughters, Cindy Johnson; Lisa Parker (John); Sonja Merritt (Ron); two sons, Michael and Jason Rogers (Missy); four brothers, Melvin Johnson (Vickie); Aaron Johnson (Temeka); Charles Johnson (Judy); and Eddie Curry (Tina); stepfather, Ed Curry; fifteen grandchildren; five great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his father, mother and two brothers. A Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 PM at the Rock Bluff Assembly of God Church in Bristol.

The family will receive friends at the Church one hour prior to the Service.
