She was preceded in the death of her father James B Kugelman. She obtained a bachelor’s degree and worked as a Dental Hygenist. Laura was first in her class and received the Golden Scale Award from the faculty.

. She enjoyed scrapbooking, reading and spending time with her children and friends. Laura is survived by her Sons, Aidan Nicholas and Ethan James Alcala, and her Daughter Ava Lynn Hamm.
