Laurina A. “Dolly” Tolomeo, 93, passed away on Sunday; January 6th, 2018 at Barton House in Louisville, KY. She is the daughter of the late Vito and Celeste Tolomeo. Dolly was a lifelong resident of Middle.

She was employed as a secretary and later manager of Personnel by United Fruit Company in New York City from 1944 to 1991. After her retirement she was a Crossing Guard in Middle Boro from 1993 to 2016. Dolly loved gardening and spending time with her nieces and nephews.

She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. Dolly is predeceased by the late Betty Guide, Vito Tolomeo Jr, and Sylvia Sobotka. She is survived by her brother Paul Tolomeo of Margate, FL, and many loving nieces and nephews.

There will be a memorial visitation on Wednesday; January 16th, from 9-10AM. A Memorial Mass will take place at 10:30AM at Our Lady of Mt Virgin church in Middle. Burial of cremains to follow at Resurrection Burial Park, Piscataway.
