Obituary for Laverne L. Hubbard Laverne L. Hubbard, 93, of Orange, Texas, passed away on July 15, 2018, in Beaumont, Texas. Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m., Sunday, July 22, 2018, at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange, Texas. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens in Orange.

Visitation will be from 5:00p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Saturday, at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange. Born in Orange, Texas, on November 19, 1924, she was the daughter of Thomas O. Landrum and Bessie Markwith. Laverne retired from nursing at Dr. Ingram’s office after 27 years.

She loved gardening and traveling to Jackson Hole, Wyoming with her special friend, Leon Parish. Laverne will be missed by all who knew and loved her. She was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Bessie Landrum; her husband, Raymond B. Hubbard; her brother, Valton Landrum; her sister, Betty Rose Bennison; and her nephew, David Landrum.

She is survived by her son, John Hubbard and wife Joann Luczak of Alexandria, Virginia; her niece Judy Turner of Orange, Texas; and her special caregivers, Melissa Bickham, Loretta Manning, and Leanna Holden.
