Obituary for LaVerne May “Granny” Borges LaVerne May Borges 92 of Kailua, Hawaii, passed away on May 23, 2018 at Castle Medical Center. She was born on April 6, 1926 in Olaa Hawaii. She was retired from the State of Hawaii, at Enchanted Lake Elementary School.

Known to many as “Granny”. She is preceded in death by her husband, Edward S. Borges Sr. Survived by her sister Dorothy Zetroner, children Juliette “Dick” Harrison, Edward Skip “Berni” Borges, Sharon Borges-Colbert, Kenneth Borges, Randy “Debbie” Borges, 10 grandchildren, 17 great – grandchildren, 1 great great grandson. Services will be held on Tuesday, June 19, 2018 at Hawaiian Memorial Park Mortuary.

Family Viewing at 9:00 a.m,. Public Viewing at 10:00 a.m., Services at 11:00 a.m., family would like you to join them for lunch at 12:00 p.m. to 1:30 p.m., Burial to follow at 2:00 p.m. at Hawaiian Memorial Park Cemetery, Fire Department Section.
