LaVerne Schutt, nee Mueller, 80, of Waterloo, IL, died June 12, 2018, in St. Louis, MO. She was born November 6, 1937, in Waterloo, IL. She is survived by her husband Dale Schutt; children Donna (Mark) Nielsen, Rick (Linda) Schutt, and Sandy (Joe) Benyo; grandchildren Mikael, Ryan (Kat), and Grant Nielsen, Brett Benyo, and Bethany (Mitch) Wattles, Lauren Schutt, Christina (James) Mason, and Steven (Carrie) Tullock; great-grandchildren Dawson Nielsen, Jonah Wattles, Cayleigh & Belle Mason; sister Linda Hard; sisters-in-law; brothers-in-law; nieces; nephews; and cousins.

LaVerne is preceded in death by her parents Erwin W. and Luella C. (nee Henke) Mueller; brother Paul Mueller; and sister Doris E. A. Ritzel. She was a member of St. Paul UCC; History Museum of Monroe County, and numerous church organizations. LaVerne had a passion for cooking for others.
