Obituary for Lavinia Bryant Smith Lavinia Yeargin Bryant Smith, 90, widow of Samuel James Bryant and Andrew Smith, died July 25, 2018 at her home. A native of Greenville County, daughter of the late Mack and Fannie Fowler Yeargin, she was a retired employee of J.P. Stevens and a member of Greer Church of God. Surviving are one son, Kenneth “Ken” J. Bryant of Glassy Mountain; one brother, Rufus Yeargin of New York; two special god-daughters, Gail Tennyson and Donna Bramlet and very special friend, Cindy McCarn.

Mrs. Smith was predeceased by five brothers, Wilford Yeargin, Bobby J. Yeargin, Marvin Yeargin, Charles Yeargin and Alvin Yeargin. Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Saturday, July 28, 2018 at The Wood Mortuary conducted by Rev. Thomas Brown.

Burial will follow in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held 12:30-1:45 p.m. Saturday at The Wood Mortuary. Online condolences may be made at www.
